I would like to thank you for making this one of the most enjoyable and successful seasons in my lifetime. Thank you for giving the club a real identity, with a style that transcends every level from youth to first team. Thank you for giving the team a real personality, a defined pressing style that entertains and is good to watch. Thank you for giving players confidence to attack, to shoot on sight and to harry their opponents for the full length of the pitch. Thank you for turning players who looked sub-par like Mowatt, McGeehan, Cavare into top performers in the league. Thank you for giving our own youth its chance and bringing through the excellent Brown and developing the Williamses and Styles. Thank you for organising our defence around the superb Davies and imperious Pinnock to keep so many clean sheets and so few goals conceded.
