Re: I kinda echo your sentiments Dave, However because andy giddings asks the question, danny wilson snaps at him, says he doesn't know what flicker's talking about, and that he's very much part of our squad. all them things. just my opinion, but i think he could have answered the question very differently, knowing full well he was on his way
Good luck Danny lad! Would have been tough for him to hold down a place maybe even on the bench if we bring this 'target man' in.
Re: jumping in too is a bit off We do need a target man up front , but Danny rose would be a better player playing alongside a target man too . Good luck to lad , maybe he will be back one day
Clear to see he is way out of his depth, and it's a shame really, young local talent. Too lightweight unfortunately and he doesn't have the pace to make up for it. Found his level in league 2 last season. Wish him all the best.
Re: I kinda echo your sentiments Dave, However " i don't know what flitcrofts on about.....you have known me long enough to know i don't do my business like this" "at this moment danny is very much part of the squad, if something happens as we go along we will wait and see" Something has obviously come along since yesterday. As for snapping at gidding's about flitcroft, the way i understood it was that danny didn't appreciate another manager talking about a player that they hadn't at the time agreed a deal to sign .
Re: I kinda echo your sentiments Dave, However He didn't really snap at him did he? He just sighed because throughout the Summer Wilson has refused to get involved in any discussions about specific players yet Giddings still asked him about Danny Rose.
think he should stay her and get some game time and then the goals might come supposed to be giving the kids a chance this season 2 games and thats your lot . if they let him go hope he bangs in loads of goals on the way to promotion and passes us by because barnsley fc never seem to learn .
Re: I kinda echo your sentiments Dave, However Danny Wilson was angry that Flicker had gone public, simple as. Regards Danny Rose, it's a shame to see him leave, but I wish him all the best. He's behind Winnall and Lita, who are similar to him but probably better. I see him as a good penalty box striker, but other than that there's very little there. Sadly. I hope he goes on to score **** loads for Bury and end up in the Prem one day. Who knows?
I thought it was fairly obvious from Danny's interview that he was going, I don't know how anyone thought otherwise. Danny said he didn't know what Flitcroft had been saying, not that he didn't know what he was talking about and he said he wanted to do business in private. He didn't deny it outright which he would have done if there was no truth in it.
i do wonder how hemmsy's coping right now. frimpong ****** off again, danny rose leaving the club, england doing ok at cricket. i want him back on days like this
