Something tells me you have an agenda against Wilson, or at least an inherent dislike of him and his actions.

Danny would be 3rd or 4th in line to play alongside that targetman though.

    Good

Hope he's got somet to fall back on, cos he's simply not got the stature for professional footballer, Worksop Town beckons like many from our Academy system before him.

To be fair it's the same Danny Wilson who told the written press a completely different thing to what he told TV/Radio press a few minutes later about the Dale Jennings sending off. Maybe he changes his mind fast.

Only time will tell but, as always, you are pretty sure of your opinion. Out of interest, is there anyone at the club that you actually rate?

To be fair rose does seem to fit into that category. I would actually say jarman and jamil adam had more potential to do well. Plenty of pace. But like them rose just doesn't have the stature (or the skill that negates the need for being well built).

Good luck to the lad. My sister taught him and said he was a decent bloke.

To me it just seems that the opportunity to sign two pints came along, he's a better bet in a similar role to rose, and affection aside, get him out to free up a wage for a big 'un.

Makes perfect sense, I'm not happy to see rose go, I'm not hugely disappointed either. I'm not overly convinced Wilson is the right manager, but he's the one we have, he has my support and he has to be backed one league game into the season. He obviously has something/someone lined up, or at least wants the opportunity budget wise to get somebody.

Good luck to the lad at bury. I've no major ill feeling towards him or flicker tbh, flitcroft was well short of what was required and from what we have seen so was Danny Rose. Prove him wrong lad, though I suspect you may not.

    I'm angry about this.

I don't like the fact that he's never had a chance to prove himself.

If he'd had a run of starts / sub appearances & not delivered then fair enough but from what I've seen of the lad he's done pretty well.

What pisses me off even more is that we're happy to chuck money at a kid that's scored 23 in 49 last season in league 2 & start him but a lad who went there & scored 3 in 5 isn't deemed good enough to even get a chance to prove himself.

Why have we even got an academy? If we aren't going to give our kids a chance then why bother?

RNL will be the next. He'll be bombed out because he's a poor wing back when he should've had a chance on the wing or off a striker.

I'm not really sure that Rose is good enough but I'd have given him more time for sure. I agree entirely in regards to your comments on the academy. We've thrown substantial money at a lad who has had one good season but farmed out Rose when he has barely had a chance. Time will tell whether it was the right decision.
As for RNL, I just don't get the hype at all. He's had 2 or 3 decent games but plenty of bad ones. Seems to have no pace or stamina and appears disinterested most of the time. Add in the fact that he is injured 90% of the time and it's a mystery why he is still on the books for me.

Seems odd to me. I would expect Rose to score as many in league 2 as Winnall and thus far Winnall looks no improvement at League 1 level so we have swapped like for like minus up to £500,000 seems weird to me. If we get the mythical big striker it will be him and Lita up front so surely it would've been better and cheaper to keep Rose as sub rather than Winnall.
