    One of the nicest people I have ever met, a fantastic player at his peak, well passed that when we signed him, slower to turn than the Hellespont Alhambra, supertanker.
    Met him lots of times and he himself says he wasn`t at his peak.

    No he wasn`t mate. His lack of speed got him into trouble a few times, remember against Donny ? I think it was same game that JCR scored a beauty ?

    Yes best thing he did was to get sent off in that game , won 4 1 with ten men .
    But he did become a cult (hope I've spelled that right) hero .
    I remember when he played for derby at Oakwell and was touched (no not like that ) from behind and went down in instalments .
    Even got the foul .
    So yes we we need the nous .

    He's a youth coach at West Brom now I think. I'd love him as a coach here.
