I just don’t buy into the whole must’ve managed at level level to be a success at that level, etc. We want someone who can motivate, coach and bring the best out of the players. There’s absolutely no reason why that has to be someone who has been at this level before, in my opinion of course.

I’m guided by the fact that he has clearly impressed people who know a lot more than I do. I think that he has an impressive CV and he has clearly interviewed well. I like that he has previously blooded younger players and that he has experience of working with younger players as that suits the current make up of our squad. The reports and articles produced by people who’ve followed his career, follow Hannover or watch German football also seem to point towards a progressive attacking coach who was harshly done by at Hannover when he was sacked. All in all I’m optimistic. It’s a gamble but every appointment is. I’d rather just get behind him.

I hope you're right but its so left field it smacks of desperation . It's pissing in the wind , it's opportunistic at best . I desperately hope he's a success but it's simply guesswork .
