Bloody brilliant. If you’ve got tickets or ordered the DVD you are in for a real treat Took this at the end
Dyson will be wnaking over that picture for years! Genuinely, he will! When Dyson sated on here that him and some other like minded individuals were going to start a fanzine I told him he was barmy. That they'd no chance of even covering their costs never mind making money for charity as was the intention. I've never underestimated someone so much or got something so wrong. 10s of thousands of pounds to charities later he's having film Premiers sharing a stage with every hero he's ever had. Well done mate.
There's a distinct possibility that those blokes are still reasonably liked even after all these years(!) Well done to Liam and all his team for yet again producing something truly brilliant.
Knew you’d have something negative to say. Lay off it. Film sounds fantastic. Looking forward to getting the DVD
It really is. @Dyson, Chris Johnson and co must be very proud at what they have created. Im truly grateful to get the chance to relive those memories again. Must complain about the lamproom though. There must be something wrong with the aircon as my eyes kept watering Some good laughs in it as well Looking forward to seeing it again Good to see many of the players and staff attending and a few BBSers in the movie
Hopefully got this right from left to right: Redders NUM leader whose name I've forgotten Super John Wilkinson Stumpy Adie Moses Eric Winstanley Ashley Ward Fjortoff Morgan Nicky Eaden Danny Wilson Chris Johnson Scott Jones Dyson Mick Tarmy Simon Lindley - Music Director John Dennis Matty Goodwin - Assistant producer Liam Swann (I think) - Script editor? Jamie Walman - Design/Art stuff (can't remember his official title (Did all the Redfearn's signs etc)
I've only seen the trailers up to now, but how much is taken up about the miners strike (anti Thatcher) section? The two events were 11+ years apart. I get that we were / are a run down town, but I never felt the Promotion season was some kind of political struggle against the Tories. (puts on tin hat)
