It does The charge was dismissed in August 2020 but the Rams face a possible separate points deduction, speculated to be nine points, over their accounting policies - with no decision yet made on the punishment. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58649432
They've had a better-than-anticipated start to the season, they could easily overcome a 12 point punishment. More difficult if they get another 9. Interesting that Reading have piped up with a "hey EFL, punish us now please" plea, after a similar decent-ish start.
The saddest thing about this is that Mel Morris has put the club in this position by overspending and is now deciding to wipe his hands on it even though he could easily afford to cover the losses whilst putting them back on a sustainable footing. He should go to prison for the way he has completely shafted decent people who will get a penny in the pound, if they're lucky.
I bet their fans are delighted that they've managed to dislodge Forest from the bottom of the table....

Yep, seems they put up a stadium they don't own, as collateral. Couldn't make it up!! However, today of all days I'm just going to mutter 'glass houses' all day.
Nice big stadium in Dorbeh for us to have, when they go bust. Can we move it, seat-by-seat, up here, and paint most of them red?
Stick it on the back of Brush's bike and in his panniers. With a few seats every game, we should have a new stadium slightly quicker than the current rate...
