I personally want Derby to go up... Frank Lampard was my idol growing up. Both teams have very good players though.
I want Villa to win so we hopefully get promotion clauses activated for Hourihane and Bree with our love of the "retain future interest" line. Villa should have more than enough to win.
I’m in two minds with this one. Wouldn’t mind villa going up because I think Conor deserves a go in the prem. But wouldn’t mind derby going up either because villa will pack out our away end no matter what the day is, and if I were to pick which park to visit again it’ll be the villa one.
Conor does deserve to play in the premier league to be fair... but I want Lampard to succeed and become a top manager
I hate Derby after the last game of 17/18. I hope they get thumped and then their financial chickens come home to roost. Hawlt Enders Een Tho Skoy!
Ashley Cole at fullback for derby . If I were villa I'd run at him for the full 90 mins . (38 years old )
Really hard to pick who I want to win as both embody much of what is wrong with the Championship for me, in financial terms I mean. I think I'd just about favour Derby here, largely due to the sheer arrogance of Villa fans. I'd prefer a trip to Villa Park next season too and I think it would be interesting to see how long they could continue paying their wages if they stayed down. So Derby County it is, not that picking them gives me any particular joy.
Mixed feelings, I prefer Derby to Aston Villa but I think Derby is a really good away game. They have a nice stadium and some friendly fans.
Derby are shockingly bad. They love a backwards and sidewards pass and have no width because they play too narrow.
Promotion is apparently worth £175 million to the winners. Mind boggling. Don't know why, especially after watching Derby's great win at Leeds, I've had the feeling that Villa could do it.
They've been poor today, so far. But that second half against Leeds was a joy to behold. Definitely got it in their locker
Think he needs to now . Villa goal from his side of the pitch . Never tracked his man , infact run to a centre half position and let others run out to try and prevent the cross .
Conor's wand in evidence. Villa 1-0 up now. They won 4-0 at Villa Park and 0-3 at Pride Park in this seasons league fixtures. For Conor's sake I hope they don't blow it and he gets the chance to play in the Prem.
Think it was more poor defending from the other side in fairness. Cole and the centre half swapped over, not a problem, but poor tracking from Bogle
