Did anyone hear the excuse Bob Willis gave to the England team

    when he called them cheats.

    Said before or after the CT final he sent a letter addressed to the England team and Ali Cook then captain.

    In it according to Swann and James Anderson he said that he made the comments about them basically cheating because he had time to fill whilst it was raining.

    That's rubbish reason.
    you had nothing to say so you thought you'd call a player a cheat???

    you can't call a player a cheat and a match umpire what ever they made him. England don't cheat.

    Ponting, Mcgrath, Warne, Symonds, Hayden, Langer, Gilchrist, Lee. Some proper players and characters back then. Flintoff still playing for England. Those were the days.

    First ball of the Ashes Harmison gets Ponting with a bouncer, welcome to England lads.

    They even put a TV in the sports hall at college so everyone could watch it on break.

    Lost a lot of interest in cricket when Channel 4 lost the rights to Sky in 2006.
