Well I don't normally comment upon the ref, but he'd definitely got a home win on his coupon. Glad it was the lino's call.
Yes, so did he, and all his team mates, and all the Brentford players. There was a great reverse angle where everyone on the pitch was looking directly at the linesman just after he slotted it home. Do I care? Not one bit. The old adage that things even up over a season isn't true. What is true is some things go for you and some against. Most seasons you get more of one than the other. Almost every fan of every club believes they get more adverse decisions than favourable. That isn't true either. I don't know if this season we've had more advantageous decisions than otherwise. I just know if he was as far offside as he looked I'll take it as a poor decision is just around the corner. And I'd take 100 poor decisions rather than ruin the game with VAR.
Looks close. Could be level. Anyway, it makes up for that shove by Pinnock that he got away with, and the dubious handball in the area.
Woodrow might be in the way of the lino's sight. I bet VAR would've cancelled that one. But VAR should've nailed Pinnock's first half hand ball.
I thought he was in real time and having watched back I don’t think it is clear but either way I don’t care.
Don't get me wrong I'm not saying it was inside, just that I don't think it's as obvious as it looked at first. I've tried to straighten up the perspective a little here and drawn a straight horizontal line parallel to both the 6 yard box and the 18 yard box. I'd say off but it's not the obvious offside that it looked like initially.
**** me, we've only stayed up due to covid 19, offside goal and administration. *grabs another Moretti*
