Did the confusion about his sending off last week get cleared up? I know he's suspended tomorrow, but I thought he got a second yellow then a red, which would mean he misses one game. However, if it was a straight red he misses 3 games. Despite what I saw I suspect it will be the latter.
Its a 1 game ban but hecky suggested in chronicle that he may sit out longer as he isn't sure if he can trust him
It was a completely bonkers thing to do. Provided he can hold his hands up, apologise, and not do it again then he can be a big player. He has the makings of a cracking player. Let’s hope one utter idiotic moment of madness doesn’t ruin that.
That's what I saw and that's what I thought at the time, but the after match reports and stats appeared to give it as a straight red. The lad was daft but haven't we all been daft? I played football at school and local level for 20 years, never got a yellow card but got 1 red for being a dick with a ref after I'd conceded a goal directly from an INDIRECT free kick. We all make mistakes and misbehave at times - the evidence for that is all over the place on here. Hope he's back soon as he's a really good player.
Trevor Aylott once did something stupid and unprofessional, too. Hopefully, Cavare can put his moment of madness behind him and show his team mates, gaffer & the club's fans it was a one off and he can be trusted, just like big Trev did. Although I accept it was Norman Hunter who brought Aylott back into the team and not Clarkey, who was the one who had the shirt thrown at him.
He reacted to an horrendous tackle by their player , yes he deserved to be sent off but the coward that tried to chop him down walked away Scott free . Cavare will only get back in now if Yids gets injured anyway so lets not hang him out to dry .
I let it go in on purpose as it was right in the corner and had I gone for it there was a chance I would have touched it but not saved it. The useless 45oijw45oiyjw34o5yiw-0-0546454%^"£$£$ T in the black outfit, despite holding his arm straight up all the time to indicate an indirect free kick, awarded the goal. I appealed and in the hearing the ref admitted he didn't know the rules. I didn't get off though because I still called him a useless 45oijw45oiyjw34o5yiw-0-0546454%^"£$£$ T. I got fined £25 and suspended for 3 games. I missed 1 then played in the next 2 under the name of Alistair Millar. Honest.......
Who ? The Fulham player ? I didn't know that . In that case Cavare ought to have smacked him int kite.
Cos the Fulham player initiated the situation .The initial tackle by the Fulham player was far worse and liable to cause more injury than Cavare's shove . Therefore the referee should have shown red to both players .
