How much will he have been fined now jeez. Must be about 8 or 9 match shirts he has gave away after each game this season now.
They don't get fined, they just have to pay for each one they give away. So he's making someone's day for what, £50? Good for him.
I f*cking love him. Bit edgy, bit risky, like myself. Can do things that others cannot, will not, or do not. A powerhouse, with huge non-human quads, like me. He brings something intangible, something different and better than any other League 1 right back, but he keeps us all on the edge of our seats, as he always has something 'else' in him. He's ace, I love him. Even with his risk factor, I believe we have a right back way beyond our 'pay grade'. In years gone by, he'd have been labelled as a "character". Fans seem far more judgmental these days vs the days of Darren Sheridan and Jon Parkin. And whilst I'm not suggested Cavare is in any way a similar personality to the aforementioned duo, they all bring/brought some form of risk and added spice to proceedings. Keep up the good work Dimitri.
Hey Whitey, when you do the match day recap (which is absolutely brilliant by by the way) may I ask the following be considered for away games? As we keep selling out away ends and our away support is becoming more and more recognised, for those of us, like me, that don't travel away but want to get a feel for the level of impressive away support this season, could you include a fan cam (away end) in your match day recap to not only capture the scale of the support but also capture the fans' reactions to key events in the game? Cheers for considering this.
Then if he's risky he's not that good after all is he? He is a liability. He is strong I give you that but his mistakes and blunders are, unfortunately, not good enough. He is, at best 'ok'. And, on another point, do you really love him?
If he didn’t make mistakes and at times verged on a liability then there’s no way he’d be playing for us. It’s onlt because of his faults that we can attract and afford him. The same goes for the rest of the team. If you’re a team like Man City you can go out and get complete players who have very few negative attributes. As you move down the leagues you either get players who are average at most things or brilliant at 1 or 2 parts of the game and crap for the rest. Our plan is to get the players who are great at a few things and try and develop their weaknesses to make them better. As such, fans at our level need to accept the players deficiencies and should concentrate on what they’re good at rather than look for the negatives all the time.
I really rate him - offers us something going forward that not many full backs can It wasn’t a penalty either - yet another terrible decision against us.
As it was in front of our fans was it the general opinion that the pen was harsh? He just appears to stand his ground while the player falls over. Is that how it looked from close up?
To be fair if Cavare's wasn't a pen then Davies committed a clear foul just a second before. So don't think we can have many complaints.
I thought it was a dive for the penalty though the challenge by Davies seconds before was more debatable.
It reminded me of a batsman being given not out LBW because he hit it, only to find he'd then been caught. First challenge a pen, second debateable. No complaints from me.
I like cavare he has had a decent season so far 3 or 4assists is it and one goal from right back hopefully he can get close to ten come end of season. He was poor Tuesday but many were he has the odd mistake in him but if he didn't he wouldn't be here streets ahead of McCarthy who we let go.
