Does Billy Whitehurst still live in Barnsley?

Seen as we got Oddjob till 2010 I thought BFC could get Billy in to give him some tips on aggression and intimidating defenders. I am sure if Oddjob took a leaf out of his book he would do better.

 

He had a boozer down near Bramall Lane I heard.

 

Last time I saw Billy Whitehurst he was the landlord of a pub at thurnscoe, cos I played snooker there.
Butchers Arms I think it was, was years ago now

 

billy has moved back to mexbro - the tyraditional whitehurst stronghold.

Thought Billy's stronghold was Thurnscoe, most of his family still live there. I went to school with his brother Mick and left school in 1981.

 

I was seeing his niece for a few years....

during my late teens, Her dad was Billys brother. When l first went to their house in Thurnscoe and was introduced to her dad he said "she don't like boyfriends" she then turned round to me and said "If you think thats bad wait til you meet my Uncle Billy" After that though l got on well with her family and had a beer in town with Billy. Unfortunately the relationship didn't last

The family was ok, but don't ever fall out with any of them, they have always stuck together.

I think he use to pay himself 2 wages, 1 for running the pub and another for being the bouncer.
