wish I could wave a magic wand and get him and his animals out, know loads more people probably deserving too but this made me sad thinking he will be targeted, very brave shows his true love for his rescued animals that he is not just leaving and thinking about himself

Truly frightening. It doesn't look good for him. It's great that he has values and cares about his colleagues and animals. However, there come's a point where you have to think about preserving your own existence.

If I was an ex British serviceman I’d be just as worried about what the Taliban would do to me before death as I would be death itself.

    I hope he gets out.

I disagree with pretty much all of our interventions in the Middle East, but that doesn’t mean I think the Taliban are merciful peace givers. They’re brutal and not compatible with the modern world.

I agree but it's their culture as bad as the atrocities they commit are.

I think he's got out with 200 animals.
But his staff are still there unfortunately.

Poor staff. Thought he wasn't going without them?
