    Best wishes, as said above, similar to my grandad. Was given 3 months with lung cancer. Went on another 10 years and was taken with something completely different.

    When something tragic happens in life people always say that it puts football into perspective or makes you realise how unimportant football is.

    I think Springvale Red's post shows quite the opposite. Well done to BFC and good luck to Springvale Red's Father.

    Thanks for all your kind comments, when we went for lunch keith told him to sit beside him, while we were on training pitch flicker told us to put dad in between nets cos that would be safest place for him in his wheelchair because these lot don't know where back of net is !! Flicker was top guy really genuine bloke.
