    What an absolute fantastic day.
    200,000 + people there, quality speeches and guests, Brass Bands were amazing ,
    Corbyn in great form, Stephanie Peacock in attendance and getting a mention , good on you Steph way to go.

    Trade Unionism at its very best celebrating solidarity and community spirit .
    Brought a tear to my eye today seeing what can be achieved if we come together.
    The funfair was also very impressive along with the numerous antique stalls. Something for all the family at this gala whether your into politics or not .

    Absolute first class day out.

    I would recommend the Durham Miners gala to anyone, socialist or not .
    There loads of events from the fantastic Brass Bands who I thought were amazing today with music from Lionel Ritchie to Dvorak.
    Can't recommend it enough for anyone, and for any socialist it's everything we're about .
    Fantastic day and don't want to wish my life away but can't wait for next year's.

    Yep voted labour several times , most of my family and friends worked down the pit , I too had the choice of working for FSW,Gullicks, but decided to do something else, all of my good fortune as you say I worked for, I'm totally against any cruelty to animals , and I'm not worried Your opinion is obviously massively wrong , so you have to ask yourself if you will be missed

    Just baffled as to who your labour heroes you keep harping on about are,
    This labour leadership under Jeremy Corbyn whom you speak so lowly of is the most progressive labour party since the Atlee govt that created the NHS etc.
    Is it dithering Callaghan, or failed Kinnock who is your hero? Or maybe it's TORY Blair which ses it all actually.
    You talk about hard work you have had to achieve your good fortune as if that's all there is to it. Rubbish !
    I know loads of people who have worked incredibly hard all their lives and never got their richly deserved recompense so don't tell me it's all about HARD WORK and that's all there is to cos that's a Tory mantra to keep us earning their undeserved wealth.
    I don't give two gems whether you care about my opinion or not as I certainly don't care about yours .

    Think your just abit thick I never mentioned heros I just didn't like Thatcher so who else was there around my area , abit like now best of a bad bunch , that's your problem always jealous about what someone else's got and they must have ripped someone off or got lucky so you vote for someone who says they're gonna stop all that and divvy it all out to ***** like you

    Well that makes sense dumbelina, I worked with all the lads in my time , went and borrowed 50k from bank set me own business up and cracked on not bad from a miners son, no substance, tha not worth a light lad, if tha wants it go and get it and don't slag them off that has ,numb nuts
