Having a stinker in Europe and to be honest, I quite like it. I hate the Prem and everything it stands for. I know a few Man City season ticket holders and the arrogance that I see is unreal. On the opposite side, I’d love Villa to win the Conference League. Big fan of Unai Emery.
Unai Emery is severely underrated in this country. I get a lot of people only really know him from his arsenal days, but he's an incredible manager. Had he had the investment what Arteta has had, he'd have done a cracking job. Would love them to finish top 4. Hopefully they don't have to sell any of their top talent.
Totally agree. Proper likeable fella. Be linked with the bigger clubs again in years to come. Not taking anything away from Villa but he’ll wanna prove people wrong and win the title.
I hope Villa do well, they've had a great season so far.Nice for another club to be in the top 4 for a change. I don't mind the original man city supporters who were there supporting when they weren't in the prem, get they're never dream they'd be so far above United in their lifetime!
Must admit I thought City would get through and go on to win it again. I watched from the second half onwards and it seemed to be like and attack versus defence training session. Now the English clubs are out I wouldn’t mind Kane and Bayern winning it.
Villa are probably reaping the benefits from it been his second job in England & him learning the league at Arsenal.
They've really come up in the world Helen, they used to throw any old coin at disability stands, now anything under £1 coin is frowned upon!
Great to see the Prem elite struggling in the Champions League. Not a fan of the spoiled cash rich clubs at all.

Whilst I understand the sentiment regarding the English clubs I can’t agree that I prefer to see the definitely ethically ran and funded Real Madrid and PSG as semi finalists… Don’t have much at all against Bayern though, and I do have time for Borussia Dortmund; they like to give youth a chance, sign younger players with potential, and then cash in on their biggest assets at the right time. But they do it a lot better than a lot of other clubs we could think of … imagine selling Haaland and Bellingham in the last two summers and still end up champions league semifinalists.
Don't understand anyone English not wanting English sides to do well in Europe against foreign sides. We have no reason to dislike them because we have little history with them and no local rivarly. It's not like if the massives were in the CL and we wanted them to lose.
Dortmund all the way over Bayern, Dortmund are the working class no nonsense Ruhr club vs the riches of the Bavarians in Munich.
I dislike the Prem elite because of their self entitlement and their treatment of clubs lower down. The rich get richer while great smaller clubs are at risk of folding. They're stopping FA Cup replays because the Champs League is getting bigger with more entrants. We were expecting to have 5 representatives next season but City and Arsenal losing last night means we stay at 4. Shame.....
They're sucking the life out of the game as a whole, our own club included. No thoughts for anyone but themselves and £££ Edit: this just about sums it up (albeit in a sweary fashion): https://x.com/rhyswebs/status/1780904334592475416
