I think he's fantastic. Got his injury at the worst possible time after a run of games and a couple of goals. Another one from The Plan? Bag of ***** that thing is.
Superb player in the making. Likewise Mahoney. I hope the realisation has come just in time, rather than just too late.
He is the pick of the bunch from last summer for me Don't get too giddy with the plan old bean... We brought in a dozen.
Of course I'm not. We've bought some duds this year. If The Plan was upgraded slightly and we shopped at Aldi instead of Lidl then it wouldn't be the season that it's been.
Was playing really well when injured. Criminal that Mills was brought in ahead of him. Five of our seven clean sheets have come with him in the team (and the other two were both Birmingham!)
Agreed.. nobody as got to go mad in the summer.. but an upgrade is essential. And we will need a proven coach to get the best out of em. Another massive summer either to get us back up.. or to stabilise our championship position.
From what I saw of him at the very start of the season I thought he looked quite nervy but, given his step up, that’s completely understandable. Since then he’s looked a rock in every game I’ve seen him, very impressive. Well done Ethan! I really believe that centre back is our strongest collective squad position (of players that are ours) and Lindsay, Pinnock and Jackson can all do a job championship.
Looks a very good footballer just needs more time on the field to help his development. I think he'd make a good left back aswell.
Have a look at the various transfer and wages budgets. I'm not arguing with you because any talk of money just turns into a tirade against Patrick Cryne. It's a waste of time.
Waste of time debating with someone who thinks a decent signing is a vindication of the club's transfer policy.
The problem with the plan is following it exclusively and taking it to the extreme. You have to make division-ready signings as well and not cash-in on absolutely everything.
Said for a while he will be the next player to leave for big money. Wasn't physical enough at the start of the season, but his ability with the ball is better than any of our CB's. He's suited to playing versus footballing sides, rather than physical ones at the moment, but is improving on all areas IMO. With a pre-season he should be pushing to be a regular starter.
So could you please provide a few details of your plan? I base this request on your obvious ability and experience inside professional football.
He stepped in against Preston at home and absolutely bossed Hugill didn't give him a sniff and had him in his pocket. I think given time he will end up our no 1 choice centre half from the limited time I've seen him his distribution is better than Lindsays
