One of the best centre backs that I've seen at Oakwell in a long time! Long term captain in my opinion. Tie him up to a very long term contract because the big teams will be calling at Christmas.

First time I saw him play was versus Morecambe last season & I said then he is the best ball playing CB I've seen in a red shirt. (Only saw Stones at FB). He was a bit too weak then for aerial challenges, but now is clearly first name down as a CB. The lad is class. He's still learning, but definitely needs an offer at some stage. I know at interviews November was the call for contract negotiations. Is this due to company year end / FFP perhaps, or just seeing where we are after 3 months of the season?
