    If he keeps us in he championship it’s saved is £6 million at least. We put Mike Sheron on 10k a week 20 years ago!!

    We paid hammill 10k a week last time in this league. Patrick offered Conor 14k a week to stay.

    Once came across a list of the players weekly pay around that time and its safe to say Sheron was on nowhere near that amount. That said along with Bruce Dyer he was the top earner.

    I seem to remember him being on £4K a week which was pretty much top dollar for the Championship at that time, especially considering what a useless git he was

    10k more than triples his wages, it's a bold move by the owners and I think it's the right thing to do, but were still well behind if other championship clubs come in for him.
