    Alternative view points, which concern the club, appear to be frowned upon so if we all agree that gushing praise is the order of the day then we can close the forum. That's my take on it.

    He's being sarcastic about how some people react to critical posts of the team and club. He does have a point. I think people are losing sight of the modus operandi of message boards.

    Well given the slagging off on here of the team (quite rightly btw) for their performance on Tuesday, how does that make sense?

    I'm not sure there's much in the way of debate on these forums though.
    People make their point, defend it to the hilt, and don't explore other people's ideas.
    No-one listens to what anyone else says unless it confirms their own prejudice.

    Everything is probably OK but with legitimate concerns over the last 2 performances and some fitness/injury issues.

    Doesn't matter to me if everybody agrees with me, it's a message board, we're supposed to discuss things. Put forward opinions with explanations and reasoned thought and we can all discuss like adults. Only reason to close the board imo would be to stop the endless weird feuds and jibes that people seem to feel the need to take at each other.

    Big game on Saturday, hope we all get behind the team and we recover from the last 2 performances which even though I like to look on the bright side of things, were absolutely woeful.

    Convincing win on Saturday and we could be looking back on these 2 games as just a minor blip. Another loss and poor performance and things will be looking a bit iffy.

    So what is basically being said is that if we lose, everyone should be critical & if we win everybody should heap praise , am I right on that assumption ? My own opinion is that everyone should be able to express their own views & thoughts whether they are positive or negative but do not get upset when people hold the opposite view , the trouble is , everybody thinks they are right & are not prepared to debate & there are some what get personal & offensive with people who do not agree with them & then unfortunately any chance of debate has gone .
