    I actually agree with some of the stuff you say sometimes but I'm not sure what the point of these sarcastic, cryptic posts are. You're becoming like nudger with the same posts every other day..

    But on a semi-relevant point- I would give a lot of these players new deals (Mowatt and Moncur for example). Thiam the jury is still out

    Do you think either has done enough to earn a new contract? I don't. I'm yet to see enough from Moncur to suggest he is good enough for the Championship. Will never be fit enough for a start.

    Depends on what you term as "discuss" I suppose, but in all honesty this board isn't really about discussing owt, it's just a place that people go to make a statement then bludgeon everyone to death with that statement, same on all sides - the beige happy clappers (me) and the negative/pessimists (you).

    It's a catch 22... Unfortunately we aren't a big enough club to always be able to wait and see. Have to take calculated risks. Mowatt and Moncur are good enough for the championship IMO although neither have been consistent the last couple years (Mowatt especially). But we definitely don't want to lose these players like we did Winnall, Hourihane, Scowen, etc. for nothing practically. Need to get them tied down before any other team realises their talent. If we do get promoted automatically you can bet bigger teams will snag these players off us for practically nowt if they haven't signed extensions by then

    I don't fear losing Moncur to a bigger club and I think it would be a mistake to offer him a contract on that basis. He is nowhere near the standard of Hourihane. If he was we would have been fighting bigger clubs off - which we haven't been doing. If we do get promoted we should be looking to improve on Moncur not maintain.
