I watched the Liverpool Man City game yesterday and Liverpools defence was unbelievably narrow which cost them all 3 points. So it's not like we're alone in being taken advantage of in our formation. Not that it's remotely the same, but it was evident. My point was more that whilever we appoint "hungry" but less skilled and inexperienced people, we are a stepping stone. That goes for players, CEO's coaches, analysts and so on. You can't build solid structures on constantly shifting sands.
There's a difference between your defensive plan not working, and not seemingly having a plan in the first place. Shifting sands or not, cannot justify the fact that teams continue to have joy in the same areas, time after time, and nothing has been done about it. Definition of insanity and all that.
Let's see what 2 weeks headspace does. The problem with the championship is you do go through spells where you've little time to work on things. he has that time and with more players to coach into a change of play. I really hope he shifts to the way he wants us to play, the formation he knows and stops trying to nod towards Ismaels style. Do what you know, do it well, show how its better or can get results.
This might have some legs. Schopp hasn't brought in any of his own staff. Maybe it's a fail safe by Conway with the change of style.
I wouldnt think Conway and crew will mess about letting Schopp make a ******** of their business and they certainly like to keep things in house and quiet. You could see Schopp out and new team in during the same day. I dont think our board are a soft touch, maybe they havent got everything perfect but they wont let anyone get away with poor performace for very long. Lets hope so.
If he's going I'd expect it to be in the next few days. They were in dialogue with Struber whilst Stendel was in charge.

Championship club being ran like a non league side again I’ve said it before act like a stepping stone and don’t be surprised to be treated like one and it all came in one perfect storm this summer.
