If anyone commutes by train between Sheffield and Barnsley, you may need to use other options at the moment.

That's unbelievable even by your standards.

Oh and it wasn't a suicide attempt

I'm not commuting anymore, but in the six months that I was doing, I lost count of the fatalities on the tracks. Some suicides, some accidents. Not to mention the old fella who had an heart attack last week onboard the train and later passed away in hospital.

Yes, the amount of times this is happening is getting higher, I thought It had been a suicide, the fact it wasn't has made me feel rotten for suggesting so!

A few weeks back, my train into Barnsley stopped about 100 yards off the station and stayed there for 45 minutes. All because some bloke was trying to jump off a bridge at Stairfoot or summat. Police coaxed him down. The amount of arguing on the train was hilarious. Some bird dared to say "tell him to ******* get on with it" and some other bird didn't like it. It got heated quickly and this fella had to stop them fighting. I was on Owlstalk throughout... ;)

It was cleared up ~5:30ish and fingers crossed isn't a fatality (that was the Sheffield platform murmur)
