RE: Grey Horse, Old Town

I think it was Ring o Bells prob in 1975. I was 16 (boo shame on me !!!)

We had a circuit by the time I was 17. White Hart, Penny Farthing, Shakespear and finally Ring o Bells !! always a Wednesday night for some reason. When I was 19 it was every pub in the town and it had changed to Friday night. I used to catch the last bus home and when I got home make something to eat. I then proceeded to eat it whilst trying to watch whatever mi dad was watchig on telly. I can still remember the excrutiating level of discomfort I felt as a tried to get both eyes to focus on the TV. I'd end up chucking half the food away and crawling upstairs to bed to a drunken slumber.

    Happy days eh !!!![IMG]
