We did have promotion form with that side under flitcroft. I am sure we will be signing a couple more. At the end of the day we have to stick to the budget.

Honest question DT, are you negative in every day life or does BFC bring out the pessimist in you? I know football can bring out the worst in anyone!

I'm not sure how many games you got to last season, but most who saw Flicker's team from January onwards would agree that it didn't need a huge upheaval to potentially do something special next year. I'd like a few signings, namely a CB, but getting Cranie and COG signed up should be a reason to celebrate - especially if you saw them play last season.

Hopefully some of the positivity flying around the place will rub off on you, we need everyone pulling in the same direction this season.

I still say we need at least 5 new faces, and that's assuming Cranie , Jennings and GOG sign.

 

And if he does attract the attention of a big club, there will be a transfer fee involved. It's clear Flicker doesn't want him around and he's prepared to gamble on getting a decent, affordable replacement in within a month. I'm surprised not more people can see what's going on.

we have released 5 players and only re-signed 3 from the seven on the retain list. At present it has been said we have just 12 seniors pros on the books. If we get Cranie, COG and Jennings, then that would be 15. Flitcroft says he wants a 20 man squad, so that means a further 5 players. Hassell, Steele and Cywka are the remaining 3 on the retained list. Its looking more and more like all 3 will go... So again I venture we need 5 new faces to make Flickers 20 dream be fact. What is negative there, it is just stating the obvious.

 

And maybe mine is post-Keith Hill blues?
