Be careful what you say on this subject. Notice where I was once vocal on this I have not said a word
Yiadom - expected, replacement signed Lindsey - surely no chance with Gus supposedly leaving Bradshaw - I can't see us letting him go unless we've got a replacement lined up. Hopefully, that replacement would bring more to the team than Bradshaw does.
So let me get this CB stuff straight... MacDonald has off field issues that are contributing to his transfer out of the club, yet instead of shipping Gus out earlier in the month and using the window to sign a replacement, BFC has left the situation until the final day of the window to get rid, with Pinnock and Jackson both injured (again) and no replacement lined up? Leaving us only Lindsay and Pearson as fit CBs. If that is the case then that is proper ******* mental.
Let’s be frank, we know nothing. Maybe the situation has gotten worse in the last few days, making it a last minute necessity?
We deserve all we get if we flog Bradshaw tomorrow. 1st time in ages we put a striker along side him on Saturday 1st half and didn't ping balls from defence to his head. But some on here would be happy to flog him and replace him with Fletcher on loan who has scored one league goal in 2 years. Also if yiadom goes were in bother too right laikers.
Exactly. I get football’s an opinions game but selling Bradshaw would be absolutely crazy. As much as I’d want Yiadom to stay, as he’s one of our best players and one of the best full backs in the division, I could understand him leaving tomorrow. Let’s hope for no more outgoings.
We all know nothing but on Thursday morning all will be revealed. Including who has forgotten to sign which piece of paper. We'll see.
As some are saying on the board, we don't know the full facts as to why Gus is suddenly persona non grata, but if it's got to the stage where the Club see that the situation is irretrievable and the only solution to the problem is to move him on, then unfortunately, that's what's going to happen. Matt Mills could be the experienced " old hand" we're looking for. He's played a total of 349 league games and apart from 12 games for Bournemouth on loan and 34 games for Doncaster when both were in League One, he's played 2 games for Man City in the Premiership and a total of 301 Championship games for a few clubs. Fair enough at 31 years of age, he's not what we usually go for, but he could be a steadying influence for some of our younger players who will line up alongside him.
I would love us to get Frazier Campbell, can,t see it though. Could be a better short term deal than Ashley ?
Think this alluding to knowing for something about Angus off the field but not saying what it is is just stroking your own ego while knowingly leaving everyone’s imaginations in overdrive. Think it’s disrespectful and if you know something personal regarding the player you should have said nothing at all. This is how rumours start.
