Genuinely not making any political point here but...

Controversial viewpoint here. Ive read your post and I don't see it as being political at all. I read it as you asking whether the DRIVER should have stopped which is a fair question. I had no idea that politicians who aren't part of the ruling party were driven around by police either. I assumed they were people who worked for the party.
