thought the young lad had a decent game yesterday.Still think we need a specialist left back and yids will be first choice rightback but with a pre season under hecky behind him I think he d make a useful squad player. Thoughts.
Completely agree. Lad has got up to speed with professional level football very quickly. Looks very solid, which gives something to work on. The attacking side of his game will develop under the right coaching. When he captained Everton's U23s he was considered a very attacking fullback, so the potential is hopefully there to be unlocked. Not many silly errors in him, which for a young lad stepping up is always a good sign. On a free transfer would be a good signing to compete with Yids at right back/deputise on left. A new left starting left back still crucial though.
I thought he was poor in the first half but much improved in the 2nd. I'm still not convinced, but it's his first half season at first team level so I'm willing to give him time. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Is he out of contract at everton this summer? Would imagine aidy white will be on his bike which leaves us with no recognised left back
I think in recent games he's improved significantly. If the opportunity arose in the summer to sign him on a free, I would do. I do think we could sign better players, so he would probably be a back-up player, initially at least
I sit in the west stand lower & had a very close view of the lad & in the ist half & I thought he was excellent , my eyes are not that good but I thought he also had a very good 2nd half.
I like him. If we could get him in, and put a pre-season into him, he'd be a very good option for us.
Best piece of defending I've seen from him that. He rightly thought he was in with a chance of pinching the ball off the toes of the player playing the pass, but quickly realised he'd be second to it so quickly dropped off and made the tackle on the receiving player when he would have been through 1 on 1.
I'd welcome him for free or a sensible fee. He's decent and getting better and has started venturing up front, overlapped Kent a couple of times yesterday. I see potential in him. But does anyone know the situation with Kpekawa? Injured or simply not good enough?
Be worth a punt on him I think. Set off really well when he arrived, then seemed to lose his way a little, and then has come back and looked nice and steady. Looks like he's got his confidence back, credit to him and our coaching staff. Sent from my SM-T710 using Tapatalk
I'd definitely take him. There's a decent player in him & I think Hecky will bring it out of him as he has other full backs if we sign him permanently

I'd never seen much in him to be honest, I've said it on here - but he did have a decent game on Monday and looked solid if unspectacular. There is a player in there, doubtless. If Hecky gets him free then I'd be happy with that, squad player and a good option to play perhaps, he'll only get better you'd think Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think Krekawa is talented but question his application. Gethin I think has good application but needs to work on his game. It's possible both could come great, but I'd always take the bloke who only needs to work on his game, not the one who needs to sort his head out.
