New ploy to stem the tide?

What tide? Two clean sheets in the last three. Hardly the pressing issue in my opinion. We need fcukinng goals.

Was a bit of fun. Get behind him, keep the ball out...

You’re not wrong about goals. Just hard to see where they are in the team

Re PH and his supposed favourites:-

Many a player has seen himself play in the first XI one week only to be ommited completely from the matchday squad the following week.

Personally, I don’t think that PH has his favourites at all. Nobody aside from Davies appears immune from warming the bench or sitting in the stands in this current squad.

Luke Steele's distribution makes Davies look like Bechanbauer.

I need to stop supping at games or some folk need to sup more based on the comments on this here thread cos what ive seen over last few games is completely different to some Re Davies.

Then again its the two usual **** stirring protagonists at it off baiting this months appointed target for abuse and hammer whilst informing all and sundry how bad things are.

I have a suggestion , get off Davies back & help him get his confidence back , he"s a good keeper , the last thing he wants is dropping after keeping a clean sheet

Davies is one of the most steady keepers I can remember in my time since supporting BFC. Probably only other one was Luke Steele. Who you also hated. People talk about David Watson was a good keeper but he had faults. He was an absolute liability at crosses. We aren’t ever going to have a perfect keeper.

Not when he throws it straight into the West Stand. He needs dropping and we need a decent back up, I'm agreeing with Hemsy, he's made too many mistakes this season.

i definitely think he needs more competition. any keeper worth his salt, has another keeper pushing him on.

    Tv punditry microanalysis.
"If we look at that again in super slowmo we'll see, Brian, that if he'd done this that and also the other in the split second he had to react he'd have kept that out. For my money it's the keeper's fault."
There's too much of it goes on and it's got to the point that players are judged as either perfect or not good enough.
I like Davies. Not seen enough of him this season to judge if he's lost form but he's not become a bad player all of a sudden. By all means get in some meaningful competition for his place and rest him if necessary but I wish we'd stop judging players as being rubbish and it doesn't just happen with Davies.

Would prefer we got a decent striker / midfielder in first before goalkeeper . Although Davies does need competition

I’ll fill this gap whilst you wait.

He’s ******* dog toss. He’s decent going forward but awful defensively.

    He’s a **** version of Scott Golbourne.

He was awful Saturday im far from convinced he is one player who isnt good rnough for the championship for me. I'd be shocked if him and Williams found a red shirt with a pass 20 times all game but let's have a go at Davies who kept a clean sheet.
