I wasn't concern about him at all redrum and from what I remember there was little comment to no comment from people around me in any sort of negative way. Defensively he's clearly fine. Little problems. Attacking he's rushing it I think. It was quite a new partnership wasn't it for me and Isgrove went about the role very different to say, Barnes or Hammill. He wants someone to go from out to in so that he can get on the overlap.

Out of the defence a lot of raised voices over Yiadom especially first half when he just kept backing off there players.

Not sure how this found it's way into a post about goalkeepers though.

To be fair, Moncur shipped himself out. All because he didn't walk straight into a newly promoted team. Whereas he had just been relegated before signing for BFC.

You watched him play a lot then?

    What’s his strengths?

    Good at commanding his area?

    Better at kicking than Davies?

Every manager has his favourites, it comes from seeing them in training day in, day out. I'm guessing he's the manager because the board (not sure about what the new board will think) believe that, overall, his favourites are the players that get the results. Whether that's the case or not is a different matter!

Well I thought a thread critical of Davies who has kept 2 clean sheets in 3 games was a little unfair. I don't replacing Davies come January will be a top priority. Imo we are 2 or 3 "championship" level players which would enable to turn games like the one Tuesday into a win Davies isn't the problem.

Strongly disagree. He took a lot of criticism for his performance at Fulham. He's also cost us a lot of games this season.

It's a massive area of improvement.

If he's not replaced then every mistake he does needs to be made a big thing and people need to push the Head Coach about this because it's not the fault of the player himself but the person picking him.

Utter toss. Yiadom is miles ahead of Fryers.

Yiadom was man of the match by a country mile, Fryers was terrible, whenever Horgan switched sides he tore Fryers a new arsehole.

What a load of rubbish, Yiadom was very good against Preston & to be honest , as much as I want Fryers to be a success , he was our weak link at the back by a country mile

He has kept us in games last season and this also. I do think he is low on confidence as many players are and needs some competition. I also think lack of creativity and goals has cost us more points as Preston didn't really trouble us but we failed to create chances to finish them off apart from yiadoms inch perfect through ball for Gardner.

Honestly I sat there for the 90 minutes wishing I was anywhere else. People were up and down around me but 8 games without a win becoming 9 was inevitable and so Heckingbottom becoming the first guy to reach that total even though he's spent more than any other coach just made me wish 5 o'clock would hurry.

Whilst the Football were on apart from telling someone infront of me how **** it was I really only spoke when people were up around me. Certain no pen for me at the time and looking at it back I was correct to say to the others straight away good tackle he got the ball.

Prove that he has spent more than any other manager
Where the chuff do you sit if all around you were slagging the popular yiadom off and praising former premiership prodigy fryers? Oh hang on I think I've just hit the nail on the head haven't I.

Your wording is bizarre. I’ll help you with the wording.

Should be ‘raised more in transfer fees than any other manager in the clubs history through developing players & has spent about a third of it on new players that need time to improve & get to the level of the previous team as the wage structure doesn’t allow for us to sign the finished product’.

Give up with the agenda. It’s embarrassing.

And, raised our annual revenue by a reported £6m per year by securing promotion.
And, was a principal reason that new billionaire investors were attracted to buy into the club after the previous owner had struggled to get any takers at all under all his previous managers.

Hemsy has a new target then.

    Lovely.

So let’s sign a kid who’s played a few games on loan at Shrewsbury, a foreign kid who he’s only heard of because of playing Fifa or some unplayed child from Arsenal.

Fook me Phil... none of those options are remotely likely to improve upon Davies. He’s had a relatively poor season by his standards, but he has been playing behind a poor side with constantly changing for one reason or another centre backs in front of him.

And what do you not understand about net spend? Hecky has made the club millions in the transfer market, he’s spent less than a third of what has been received. He’s lost player after player and had to replace them on next to nothing.

He would have loved to have not had to spend anything by having kept a few of his better players. Wasn’t an option.

Waste of time responding like as you’ve admitted being wrong about as many times as Donald Trump or my Mrs.
