Impressive performance impossible to criticise anyone other than Cavare and Thiam. Well on top in the first half and a battling second half display with a 100% effort from everyone other than Thiam. More like that and we will be fine.

Did we miss Williams or is Gardner the answer full time?
That could free up wages for our own permanent imports!

Agree, Cavare cost us 3 points there, we were well on top. Can’t believe the few in the ponty at the end booing and blaming Hecky and the rest of the players.

Agree completely we lost our ability to press once down to ten and it showed. Stayed and applauded the lads off great effort today.

Have to add Davies to those criticised. Was dire. The difference is his is a lack of ability (or form) while the other two is laziness and being a dirty lovely person

The rest of them though played exceptionally well.

Thought their lad put a great cross in for the second goal their forward didn’t connect properly and the ball was spinning and difficult. He is kicking was appaling though.

That's exactly correct. He headed it into the ground and it looped up wirh no pace. He palmed it straight up because there was no pace on the ball. It didn't look great though.

Thiam and Cavare an utter disgrace

For the second I thought he made the wrong decision (again). Should have punched it into grove Street but tried catching or something

I think Davies needs to be dropped.

His mistakes are costing us too many times now. Said it after Villa.

I’d agree with that but while the only other option is Townsend you can’t.

Agreed. Cavare looks a decent player but that was a stupid thing to do. And Thiam looked lazy coming on. Dissappointed by him today. Reckon with 11 we'd have won today. Didnt help it felt a bit lile we were against ref at times.

For me Thiam was playing to orders, ie don't cross the half way line, but why oh why persevere with long balls when you're a man down surely short passing keeping possession is needed. Not a bad performance today but a result that could go a long way towards relegation.

Yeah, I know. Out of the frying-pan and into the deep fat fryer.

Let's hope the next few days bring some good news.

I don't think it was that from thiam. He wasn't chasing the ball back or forwards or making any attempt to chase men down. Might as well have played with 9 men for all the work he did

Also agree with Davies being poor. Although he did pull off a good save in 2nd half at one point. Someone a bit more decisive and able to command area would be better. Also not sure he should be captain.

I could criticise Bradshaw for missing the chance to make it 2-0. Could have been game-changing. He works hard though.
