    Actually only the opening scene was filmed in Plockton where the sea plane lands near the harbour.

    One of the locals told me that.

    Walked up the Fairy Pools today and then took a little boat trip out from Portree.

    If you haven't already- drive down to Elgol. The views on the route down are worth it alone but Elgol is another stunner.

    We would have got there but for our van gearbox failure :(:(:(

    Good news is we fetched the repaired and reconditioned gearbox back from Birmingham on Wednesday and delivered it to our repairer, he's planning to refit it next week. :):):)
