    But we wouldn't sign a John Hendrie Paul Wilkinson or Neil Thompson today to complement a Clint Marcelle Matty Appleby or Nicky Eaden sometimes you need to remember what worked before might just work again if you sign the right type of players with the right mentality.

    Those days are gone mate. Wages have gone through the roof. So very few continue playing from the top tiers. I can't think of many that fall into the same category as

    A word for the referee Richard Poulain who was secretary for Emley FC. He did a very good job. Refs were better in those days. He's a Manchester City match and reffed us against them Christmas 1996 in the same season. Nowadays refs can't ref their club.
