I had it about 20 years ago I had a general and there was little pain. I got an infection and had to have a course of antibiotics but it wasn't painful at all. It all healed up properly within a couple of weeks.
Yup. But rather be spark out than awake whilst someone is punching me in the knackers Sent from my SM-G800F using Forum Runner
Jesus, is this what middle age has in store! I'm only just coming to terms with the early signs of nose and ear hair and finding my first grey hair.
I had mine in 1982 under a local anesthetic. I had to take time of work as I had a lot of heavy lifting to do. Funny thing about it was seeing old mates in the Street and them saying " a bet thas ed snip". It was the way I walked.
In summary - it sounds pretty horrible and I'm going to buy a box a johnnies. I expect a pack of ten will last me a year
Had mine done at Lundwood medical centre. First side was fine, only pain was the pulling sensation on the tubes. Second side anaesthetic had worn off, I jumped off the bed, Dr said do you need more anaesthetic, I said if not I'll be punching you, more anaesthetic provided and second side was less painful than first. Back on the job the next day (literally) . Get it done.
