It was last seen soaring somewhere towards the roof of the Ponty end.

On a related note has anyone seen the ball that Thiam kicked? I saw it go past the M1 at Dodworth but its not been seen since

Some of our finishing is atrocious.

Yeah our right back should be more clinical from 20 yards the ball should of been in the back of the net before it came out to cavare. Thiam had more time didn't need to hit it 1st time. Moncur effort was embarrassing we need to be more clinical agreed.

I don't care what position he is, he's a professional footballer of course he should be more clinical than row z. Most of them were embarrassing efforts, including cavare.

Thiam showed a total lack of composure with his effort. If anything he try’s to hit the ball too hard.

In that case moore should of scored a header and like I said the ball should of been in the net before cavare hit it.

The Thiam effort was really poor. He had more time than he thought but even hitting it first time he should have done much better than he did.

Same could be said for any of the three excellent chances he should have burried. A complete waste of money that we should be cutting our loses on, if we could find a club daft enough to want him.

Agreed and it must be an area of concern for Stendel. What can he do about it though? Was Thiam's finishing against Oxford a flash in the pan? Hopefully Woodrow will be available soon and offer us something different. If we have hopes of a top 2 finish then our conversion rate needs to improve. I see Peteborough have won again today, looking at the stats they had 9 shots and scored 3 goals. In terms of total shots /efforts on goal thus far then they are way lower than us but keep taking their chances. Us on the other hand throwing points away...

Don’t know what it is with him, does some good work, has the build for it but when he shoots he’s all over the place but on target.

Club said he didn't play in the match away at Scunny, the day after we signed him, because he wasn't registered in time, not because he was injured. The reports from elsewhere prior to this had said that either he was injured and couldn't take our fitness test or was injured during it. Later the club said, erm yes, he is injured after all.

Winkler said this week the injury occurred after he signed for us, during training. Possibly a result of stress from the move, or trying a bit too hard.

Didn't realise stress could cause actual physical injuries. Note to self, relax more or you may end up doing yourself a mischief.

It’s a funny old game - on 87 mins, we were top them Walsall & Portsmouth score to equalise & Peterboro score to win!

Cheers Jay. I thought that Bahre was the 'not signed in time' one and Woodrow was injured. I'm not very good with transfer news
