At least the squad and management team have time to regroup, rethink , train and practice tactically together and importantly bond more as a team before the next match. I hope Jose has man management skills to listen as bridges i feel need to be built before Bristol City.Lets hope they are .
If we do go down i hope the players show fight and spirit......they didn't seem to once we went behind yesterday. COYRs

On the other hand, we've got 12 days as supporters to stew about the **** we've got ourselves in before the next match. It's going to drive me barmy.

Mcburnie, Mallan, Bradshaw and Hedges missing, away on international duty so training could be a bit disjointed.

Come on now folks. I'm trying to be a bit upbeat cos I'm fed up of feeling that its a lost cause after Millwall match.

Forget regrouping - if the tactics remain the same we are relegated.
When you look at the team sheet an hour before kick off you will know if we have a chance of getting anything from the game.
If it looks like 4-3-3 again then we will lose.

We also played 442 or with 1 up front and lost for that matter. They say in the fa cup if your names on it you'll win the cup. I sometimes think it also applies to the league. If it is your turn to be relegated then everything seems to conspire against you. Injuries, loss of form by key players, managerial decisions etc. It feels that way with us this season. Plus in our case the loss of Patrick Cryne, Paul Heckingbottoms defection to Leeds of all clubs, the Tommy Wright incident last year, the long drawn out takeover, the CEO fiasco, bot signing Mc Burnie in August In short nowt seems to have gone right....

    Nah

    We are shot.

Birmingham will survive. We are down with Burton and Sunderland.

Where were you calling 433 before Saturday?

Lots were calling for 433 after second half performance against Burton. But Thiam aint no winger and Mc Burnie now sits out on left wing. Both of them are not wingers. I am not sure what Thiam is to be honest . Hammill, Isgrove ang Hedges are though. Adam Hammill should have been at least on the bench for last few games. At least he can cross a ball and capable of a goal or two. Plus he plays for the shirt and puts the effort as does Isgrove that is lacking in others.

Thiam's more of a winger than he is a striker.

Out of interest, what do Hammill, Isgrove and Hedges do that Thiam doesn’t?

Cross a ball, look fitter and last more than 45 mins without looking knackered ( although Isgrove has spent more time out injured than he or the supporters would have liked. )Thiam reportedly cost 900 000 and has yet to justlfy that price tag. He still seems unfit yet he has had since August to get into shape. He isn't even blessed with cracking pace needed to beat an opponent. I would love him to succeed but feel he just aint got it.

Not sure what hedges or isgrove had done off bench or when starting last few games that made you think they are worth playing. Isgrove had come off bench 2-3 times and been even worse than person he came on for every time despite fresh legs. Hedges started at middlesbrough and was dreadful and got took off at half time for it. Not sure we have any other options really other than Hammill and Thiam who hasnt been that bad, just needs finishing practice.

Practice putting ball in the net from all the angles, add pressure situations where defenders trying to add pressure. Im sure they do some but it seems he needs to really be doing finishing more often. And he Played 90mins just fine on saturday, still did more than isgrove when he came on in last 10 mins while Thiam was 'knackered' from being 'unfit' as you say. This same unfit Thiam managed to keep Norwich's LB under control on tuesday and also Millwalls LB hadnt got a prayer yet the much fitter Isgrove let the norwich man run straight down line and put a cross in for goal.

Hedges can make little things happen when hes coming off bench but ultimately he isnt good enough to get a starting spot and is very inconsistent.

Mahoney i havent seen much of but he has always looked even worse than all of them, maybe unfittest if them all which is a shame cos he talked a good game on twitter when he joined.

Hammill deserves atleast a fair chance since all others have had a chance and been terrible other than Thiam, whos been ok but not good enough to have a guaranteed spot in starting lineup!

Will have to agree to disagree on Thiam who is our most expensive signing I think ?and has yet to score a goal from open play? As regards other Jan signings , why did we sign Mahoney? a winger supposedly who has not yet played 90 mins? Not Jose 's fault but did Hecky request we signed Knasmuller and Thiam who I suspect he must not have seen playing unkess he made trips to the continent in secret?

You mean in history or current squad? Even Mcgeehan cost more and he cant get in a league 1 side.
