    This Sunderland interest couldn't have come at a better time for Hecky.
    Because if Chien Lee is to purchase the club but still doesn't contact him immediately - then Hecky will know for certain that he has to find another job soon.
    Plus of course a hike in wages offered by Sunderland should show Mr Lee the value of Hecky.

    BTW ........ I'm currently at a loss to try and work out what Patrick Crynes input has been here.
    If he is too poorly to deal with this takeover - then who and what has this other party been doing?

    I'm not sure that the absence of immediate contact automatically means that Hecky will be moved on. I'm sure the new owners will speak to Paul in due course about their plans.

    They would be insane to not retain Hecky and I'd hope they will be advised alone those lines.

    If Nixon is to be believed on Twitter, the hold up in the deal has been due to issues the selling party have. It's obviously speculation on my part, but maybe the hold up is concerning the jobs of current club employees that My Cryne wants to safeguard(i.e. Hecky and his coaching and scouting team)?
