    Thats been the case for years now, where fans choose to disagree by making pointless and sarcastic examples which are totally irrelevant to us.
    Somebody suggests we spend a bit more on players, and we get asked if we want to see our team do the same as Portsmouth and Coventry, who unbelievably overspent and almost went out of business.
    Or some fans say they think the team should be doing better with a particular squad of players, and we get asked if we're expecting us to win the Champions league next like Barcelona & Real Madrid. :eek:

    You're criticising Hecky's footballing knowledge yet you use Kante & Gueye as examples of defensive midfielders, bizarre.

    You only have to watch them once or twice to see they're both box to box combative midfielders. Better versions of Scowen

    They are all that I mentioned very much defensive midfielders. Kante's the best in the world at DM.

    He's not a defensive midfielder, he's an all round midfielder. He's a ball carrier, he overlaps. To paint him as some defensive Makelele type is just wrong.

    His own manager who you seem to rave about has commented that he wants him to add more goals to his game as he doesn't take advantage of the attacking positions he gets in.

    I think you're confusing a midfielder who can tackle with a defensive midfielder.

    To be fair he's described as a defensive midfielder on the Chelsea website, and most others.
