So Paul has no say in recruitment and just gets players picked for him. I don't know why people are getting on heckys case after today we were well on top one man cost us today. Playing one of the top teams in this division with 10 men was always a hard task.
Paul said last week he selects the players and if the club offered him players he would tell them not to waste there money as he wouldn't pick them.
Works both ways this, if we're saying that none of the players are of his choosing. He took the plaudits for getting some players promoted, now he has to take some accountability for not winning football matches with some players. Not that I want him sacking, I'm just trying to be fair minded.
On today of all days, this feels really inappropriate. I expect you'll say it's not a comment on Patrick Cryne, but given your very open views on how you though Patrick Cryne ran the Club, I imagine that's how it will come across to many. IMO, just really uncalled for on this day.
No he managed to get us promoted the other season against the odds, without any input into who we should recruit. If he'd been able to pick his own we'd have gone up automatically. The man was a genius that year. But now, recruitment, which he plays no part in, and which worked well before, has gone to pot. We're a division higher. Doesn't work so well.
