Both out of contact this Summer
    Both midfielders
    Similar age

Apparently Lansbury is signing for Villa for £3 million.

I suspect the price when we do sell Hourihane will be more than £2m.

Only difference I see is Forrest are in financial turmoil. That said, there's your benchmark.

The rumoured £1 million is ludicrous to the point of being very difficult to believe.

The most concrete I have seen is it is 'on the table' from those journos tweeting. It can stay on the table.

As far as I'm aware (and I'm not the gospel), we've agreed on a million with Fowls and Villa, and Conor is deciding whether to go to either of them or stay with us. However, from Hecky's comments which have appeared on Twitter, it seems far from a done deal. However, he's unlikely to say much until anything is signed and sealed......

£1M would be disappointing. His value to us over the 2nd half of the season is greater than that. I'd rather he signed a pre-contract and went for free at the end of the season. He's professional enough to still do the business until May.

add Dale Stephens from Brighton into this comparison who's out of contract int summer......27 years old and Burnley are rumoured to have offered 7+ million for him!

maybe im biased but Hourihane is the better player of the 3.

Agreed we are the worst negotiators in the whole Football League period.

It's simple just say no until we get the Value we deserve we've improved him as a Player without doubt so we deserve to be compensated for all the hard work they've dedicated on improving him to the top championship midfielder so far this season so the value should be more than Dale Stephens and Henri Lansbury especially with Lansbury when we are Financially more stable than Forest and don't need the Money as much as they do !

Lansbury is the better player for me but connor is worth 4 million all day long with 6 months left an insult to us supporters if he leaves for 1 million
