All your workers rights so I can parcel them off to Johnson and cronies. You won't be needing them anymore. After all who needs holidays, maternity and paternity leave, carers leave. Health and safety, Tupe etc in the race to the bottom

I have seen people trying to seriously argue that those regulations are the reason that their business is not steaming away to massive profits and they think getting rid will make them instantly successful. They can't explain how the Germans, French, Swedes, etc can be more successful with the same rules. I blame crap management personally :)

Me too people should be genuinely worried that Pritti Patella and David Davis will be in charge of their employment rights.

I got three gifts, all in non-white packaging.

I think one's a treatise on xenophobia, the second is the NHS with no extra funding, and the third is a dog-whistle.

Despite the difference in the size of the presents, the packaging means that they all look the same to me.

I must say at the moment I am more worried about the provision in the Great Repeal Bill to allow the PM to unilaterally rewrite any law she wants without consulting Parliament.

The majority on this board are too intelligent to be part of the 68%.

Brexit. The greatest gift the f******g tories have ever had fall in their lap.

When it all goes tits up they can blame the EU for shafting us, all someone else's fault see. in a race to the bottom I still can't believe areas like Barnsley have let these ***** get away with this.

still, you've "got your country back"

I think if you speak to the majority of leave voters, its all about the foreigners, mention loss of business etc and it doesn't register. That is why I have a problem with it all.

Quite right. Also they're quite happy with the prospect of retiring somewhere in the sun (like Spain for example) but object to any Europeans coming here. I think actually they're not so bothered about Europeans coming here as much as people from other parts of the world, in which case, what has Europe got to do with it?

I have a lot of sympathy for Scots that want self determination , although I desperately hope they choose to stay with the rest of us . I'm not though convinced that Scots will vote to leave when the chance arises...NS isn't either .
The biggest problem she has is that a million more people voted in the 2014 Indyref than voted on June 23rd...working out which way they will go is a real dilemma , if she gets it wrong the Independence question will be settled probably for the rest of her ( and certainly Alec Salmond's ) political career . If she gets it right and Scots vote for Independence , the tricky question arises over whether that will be in or out of the EU ....and what contribution if any , Scotland will have to make for membership .
If I were a Scot Nat I would prefer independence from both . Scots are a resourceful people and I would prefer to be unshackled from the EU and more particularly the Euro .

I like your reply Sadbrewer. Political situation through out the UK is a mess ATM. But one thing is almost unanimous here in Scotland is that we hate being Governed by this right wing Tory Government. Mayhems total dismissing of us and our concerns has done more to bolster SNP support.
Could we win an Inde ref? Well taking all that has happened withing the last few days and nothing for Scotland to get excited about and possibly more misery to come. I'd say a positive yes vote for independence is almost assured and Mayhem's body language seems to back this up.
I just watched an interview with Andrew Neil and Mayhem and for 30 minutes she answered NO questions put to her. She is just blundering on and things will escalate out of her control very soon. I do believe Nicola just has to bide her time. Mayhem certainly will not entertain another Ref here in Scotland leaving the SNP to go it alone. It could all get very messy.
