Football is now a business. Most businesses have undergone the same process as our club (or business). They have been hollowed out in the name of profit. The outer shell looks all shiny and brilliant, but it’s a very thin shell of propaganda, PR, deception and lies. Beneath that, the money men - with no experience or understanding of the business they run - preside over decay. Heart, soul, passion, ambition? They understand nothing of this. Only money, money, money. If they can make more money in League 1, 2 or Birdwell rec, then that that’s where we’ll go. They will excavate every crevice, to extract every penny they can. Then move on.
