I've gone for lazy. Work rate not there. Can't see him featuring much if we manage to get the extra striker Hecky is looking for.

Just plain lazy today. I've thought he was good when he's come on before but he's jogged like he has no neck today. Could have fought for the ball when he lost it but ambled back like a compromised chicken

Not sure if he didn’t get injured in the challenge with there player , but if not , the lack of effort was inexcusable.

No excuse either way. If he did get injured there is a team of physios sat on the bench? No reason whatsoever to hide it from them

Strange signing for far too much money at the time. Still to find the onion bag 5 months plus in. Looking like he can't strike a box of matches. Probably off the spreadsheet cos I can't for the life of me think PH had any say on this lad signing

there's often two sides to every story and tbh, hecky has spoken highly of his attitude whenever he's been asked, but for me he's had plenty of time to adjust now. if we've paid anything like the £1m i keep hearing, we've properly had our pants taken down. when he came to the club, he was sold as a strong, quick, tireless attacker who could shoot with both feet. i can only assume the video footage was cgi

everything else aside, the one thing he should be able to give, is 100%. his workrate coming off the bench today was shocking. that's the bit that's indefensible for me.

I didn't quite understand the Thiam signing, especially pre-takeover. Apart from the likely involvement of Ganaye, I couldn't work out how he landed on our radar and then why he'd end up here. It seemed a very left-field signing. I think he's got potential and is a decent enough player. I also think he's used to a very different style of football. If he had scored a couple of goals early on, he may have kicked on and become a bit of a cult hero. He didn't score early on, played here and there and has since appeared to look rather lost. The pace he apparently has is not evident to me, neither is the dribbling ability. The French Ligue 2 is possibly a lot slower and of less quality then the Championship, but on the You Tube clips of Thiam, he only looked decent to me, nothing spectacular even at that level.

I reckon Thiam is still a long way from feeling comfortable here and that is manifesting itself in rather insipid displays lacking spark. I won't write him off yet, but it just doesn't seem a good match somehow.
