Fair point but it's not what some people would consider normal.
A lot of people are uncomfortable with same sex marriages etc it doesn't make them prejudiced.

 

And how do you know they haven't worked on it? In fact I will tell you now that they have worked on it. They have completely changed their lives to be closer as the excuse/slash reason Tom gave for his behaviour was that they were apart for so much time with one living in England and one in America. As a result of this they now live together.

Yes they could have adopted but so could the other million or so people who have babies in the UK every year.

No. If somebody doesn't think it's acceptable then they are.

 

I think the solution here is to accept that it makes you uncomfortable and then either try and get over it or realise that it doesn't affect you anyway so just be uncomfortable but live and let live.

I can understand people who say it isn't natural. I mean technically of course it's not natural. I can understand people who say it isn't 'normal' as the norm is obviously a man and a woman so i can see both points of view on that but it's when people say it isn't acceptable or that they won't accept it that's when they are prejudiced and homophobic. On that issue there aren't two views which are both right. There is a right view and a wrong one.

How does it affect that child then? Other than other children also being affected by their parents?

If that were the case, we should really be doing to proper testing and background checking on anyone who wishes to be a parent. Because so many children have awful parent, but since they did it the accepted way, no one bats an eye.
