39,150 tickets given and last few on sale today.

    Brilliant effort.

Hope they lose mind, "The Yorkshire Championship 17/18"

Great effort, arguably the biggest game in their history mind. I hope they win, Yorkshire needs a representative in the Premier League now Dull have inevitably dropped.

With an FA Cup victory and 3 successive Division One titles in the past, it's not the biggest game in their history. I'd agree with you if you said in the last 50 years though :)

I suppose some people only consider events of the last twenty or thirty years as "relevant history". Huddersfield were one of the top clubs in the country a long time ago so this game on Monday is not the biggest game for them.

It will certainly be the most lucrative though, which tells us all we need to know about modern football. Glory comes a sorry second to money.

I hope they win They are a better side to watch than Reading and it would be nice to see them back in the top division. Also our recent record at Reading is not too bad so we stand more chance of points there next season :)
That said I dont really care - they put down the Fowls which was the nly match I really wanted to go a certain way in the Championship playoffs

Good on em! I know loads of town fans and they're just like us, so I hope they do it.

They and Fulham were the best two teams we played in my opinion.

Only hope is that Reading don't score first and chuck everything behind the ball.

I would say it is far and away their biggest ever game in terms of the financial impact it could have on the club.

I see where you're coming from, but think of the money involved if they go up. From that perspective, it really is the biggest in their history.

And the players no longer travel to the ground with the fans on the tram, boots under their arm and smoking a woodbine.

Exactly Herbert chapman would be spinning in his grave. Also what about the games that got them promoted to the top division in the early 70s ?

I know of people that Ticketmaster screwed up on. Sending our tickets on different rows for tickets bought together. Clubs will keep using them like when they messed up with us last season. Huddersfield Examiner did a piece the other day saying it's 23% of the town going and had shop keepers saying they will still open on monday as they expect it to be a normal bank holiday day of sales at least until match time, who they trying to kid....

Nice words from Hecky in the Chronicle about both clubs, as diplomatic as you'd expect with him saying they are two of his favourite teams from the season. Reading forum is full of posts from their fans not bothered if they lose which is ridiculous. The arguements being they would rather be one of the best teams in this league than be thrashed regularly, more games, better standard to watch, keeps regular 3 pm kick off times and that the premiership is overated. Personally i'd say no league needs Reading in it who are by far the most boring side I have seen us against this season and it's been the same when I have seen them on Sky Sports.

Absolutely dull to watch typical Dutch football of sidewards and tippy tappy posesesion stuff. Worked on Fulham mind....Huddersfield at home was for me our worst home first half of the season and they should have been out of sight. It got better especially when Heffele complained about a Scowen challenge.

Wednesday, Leeds, Wigan and Preston were far more dull to watch. Literally offering nothing.

Reading were brilliant against us peppering our left hand side with attacks until they went down to 10 men.
