Middlesbrough and Hull are both in Yorkshire. Yorkshire CC play in Middlesbrough and but for a few daft years of local government which created Humberside and Cleveland both have been as Yorkshire as Sheffield which used to be partly in Derbyshire
Great deal for the home fans. Better than the thirty quid a ticket for just 2,236 tickets that we will get like Wednesday did yesterday.
Im not surprised after looking at crowd yesterday on highlights ground looked empty. Embarrassing to say they were in prem last year and had just set on a new manager....
I posted something similar about the Leeds game, but one get a free one to a home game, should do it for every cat A game
Funny that. Might be an age thing because our next door neighbour was born in Middlesbrough and he gets annoyed at the suggestion he's not a Yorkshireman. Chris Old played for Yorkshire at a time when you had to be born here to play for the county. He was born in Middlesbrough. Hull people were so up in arms about the new county of Humberside that they got the decision reversed and Humberside is no more.
It's a shame they're still splitting the away end given the empty seats in other parts of their ground. I'm sure I saw a group fans jump up in the home section when Wednesday scored.
