    Thats not really a fair comparison, their last season stat to ours this seasons - we are flying and they were struggling last year with their lowest average by over a 1,000 for 7 years. For a better comparison the last four seasons we've both had in this division, no ST offers for either team:

    Hudders: ave league position - 18 ave att 13,858
    Tarn: ave lge pos - 20.5 ave att 10,987

    We'll see how the sales go for this one, they went on sale yesterday for their fans but they're more bothered about the cup this weekend. Should be a decent crowd and a cracking atmosphere either way.

    But that would be unfair to take into accountour last spell in this league when we scraped relegation every season and signed has beens I for one as many others got totally balled off with football and bfc. We were consistently bad surviving drop by a point or 2 every year.

    Thats why l put in the average league position, they were only finishing two places above us on average so they too were struggling season after season.

    I thought they had finished mid table scince been back in the championship at least once. In our 10 year stint in this league last time round think we only finished above 18th once. In my time of watching Barnsley (21 years) we have always been in the same or higher league than town bar 2 the last 2 season's. Like I said I'd be really shocked if they sold the away end out 4k tops I reakon.

    That's no excuse really the city replay is on a Tuesday night so I'm sure that would put a few off. And many would just do both 20k at the home leg at city and can't take 5500 a few mile down road when it's their best season in over 20 years. Never seen them fill the away end and doubt I ever will.

    But only online really. The club is brilliant at advertising online but absolutely awful at any other form of advertising. There are giant poster advertising spaces sat empty in the stands. Surely it would make sense to print a poster off and put them there. Apart from the missed opportunity it must put potential advertisers off when even the club itself doesn't think the space is worth advertising on
