Nope the actual logo isn’t. It’s quite narrow and looks bigger as it was printed on the vertical stripe.
Honestly if you haven't already give Paddy Power a share on social media they're hilarious at times. Surely the Hudders fans must even chuckle at that, if they made a video on our club similar id see the funny side. If they didn't reveal it is all a joke though and we had to play in a kit like that the funny side would quickly ware off.
Looked on the #HTAFC and they are wearing it tonight at Rochdale. They have also done a tweet saying when it's on sale in the club shop. I'm still saying it's a joke they are keeping going.
It's definitely a wind up and a good one at that. They've said they're using it tonight but posters at the match are saying they're playing in yellow. Some of their fans are getting proper wound up about it hahaha Edit: scrap that- they are playing in that kit. Same rules wont apply for friendlies though. 99.9% certain its a wind up.
I’ve just read on Twitter (reliable source I know) that the FA are contacting them as it’s in breach of their rules on sponsorships (as alluded to in an earlier post)
Tend to agree, its Paddy power all over. Still think it's a wind up and seen as it's making national news I'd say it's working very well.
I agree, was on the BBC website this morning. Good publicity for Paddy Power, don't see where it gets Huddersfield Town TBH, but was probably part of the sponsorship deal.
Exactly it get Huddersfield money from Paddy power. Also helps market the new shirt and when they release the real one the fans will be so relieved it's not the horrible design that they will be happy with it.
Sounds like Huddersfield may be in a bit of hot water for wearing it last night though. Apparently, the rules surrounding kit sponsorship still applies in friendlies...
I suspect they will have known from the start and that PP will be covering any resulting fines as it will probably still be worth the amount of publicity this has generated.
