Why get on to him this week,he is only telling the truth.Walsal were all over us and a bit better finishing we could have lost that, but glad we didn’t another 3 points.
I don't think Cauley Woodrow on his own up front is particularly effective. What Daniel does to remedy this is anyone's guess. Play Jacob Brown up front alongside Woodrow, and someone else right wing-back? Victor starting up front? I think we're better with someone alongside Cauley - he seems to have to drop too deep looking for the ball.
We lost loads of games last season that we deserved to win, counts for nowt, points are what matter. We win and pressure increases on teams below us. Lack of goals is a worry but this league is so tight nearly every team have something to play for, lots more 'surprise' results to come in the run in methinks
Easy to criticise like young drudger does, but it's worth pointing out the loss of key players since January, and the bad luck we have had since then. Potts gone Moncur gone McGeehan 3 crucial games out Brown 3 crucial games out Moore lost for rest of the season Dougal out for rest of season Davies and Hedges on international duty Daniel has put his faith (he's HAD to) in the young and less experienced players, Ben Williams, Jordan Williams, Jordan Green, Callum Styles, Ryan Hedges, Jack Walton etc to try to plug these gaps We have played Portsmouth, Sunderland and Donny recently and not lost. We are second in the league, 19 games unbeaten, second highest goal difference, second highest away goal scorers, our best position and stats for years. But unfortunately Walsall played well as they are entitled to do at home, narrowly lost at Sunderland and playing good stuff. But we persevered and won the game. Can't see any reason to be negative, only to get even further behind the Reds and help push this young team to success
The thing is.... to say if we play badly we might not go up is not rocket science. However, we seem to be expected to treat it as though it is.
We had moore, dougall, pinnilos,Davis and hedges out today. We weren't at our best but we got the win and another clean sheet. Like someone already said when we got promoted in 20015/16 we had our games were we weren't at our best and got fourtunate the game at oakwell were George Williams scored port vale away where conors free kick went through everyone and crept in the corner. 7 games left 5 wins will do it COYR
Was just going to bring up the last gasp winner Williams scored in the promotion year - seemed to give us impetus when we had stalled. We need to reenergise this week for another big game next week - COYR
Thanks for that. You only need one person brave enough to say what you said - and just watch the tone of the following messages change.
Nope, tone won't change because you are down on the team nof matter what. Definitely a glass half empty type!
When.............you play like that and get 3 points.......that is................how you get promotion..............
